Regina, Sask. – Z99 Morning Show hosts Justin, Wheels and Shauna Foster, hit the airwaves sharing stories of heartbreak and triumph, to help save babies’ lives in Regina and southern Saskatchewan. Thanks to unwavering support from so many generous people in southern Saskatchewan, the 38th annual Z99 Radiothon raised $445,694 for Hospitals of Regina Foundation in support of our neonatal intensive care unit (NICU), located in the Rawlco Centre for Mother Baby Care at Regina’s General Hospital.

We love this community and are completely in awe of the way the Zed Family continues to show up with extreme generosity. The stories shared are powerful reminders of why we do this, and that these donations are actively working to save numerous babies lives. We’re overwhelmed with gratitude to everyone who helped support and raise these funds so from the bottom of our hearts: thank you!” Justin, Wheels & Shauna.

People should be aware that so much good happens in the NICU, but there are also hard times there and those stories aren’t easy,” says Ashley Campbell, who gave birth to her twin daughters, Stevie and Jensen Brown on January 4, 2024. Stevie went home after 87 days while baby Jensen only lived for six days. “It is important for people to know their donations are helping so many babies and families like mine. Technology keeps changing and because of that, babies like Jensen may be saved in the future.”

This incredible community continues to show their incredible generosity and support for important events such as the Z99 Radiothon. This is evident, not only during and leading up to Radiothon, but throughout the year at the many projects aimed at improving the lives of the people of southern Saskatchewan,” says Dino Sophocleous, president and CEO, Hospitals of Regina Foundation. “Thanks to this amazing community, and our dedicated partners Justin, Wheels, and Shauna Foster, from the Z99 Morning Show and the entire team at Rawlco Radio’s Z99, we are able to invest in the best pediatric care, right here at home.”
