Community Generosity ensures over 4,500 children have Christmas
As many families are struggling to keep food on the table, the last thing they should have to worry about is if their children will have a Merry Christmas.
With a record number of families requesting assistance from Sanats Anonymous this year It’s the generosity of the citizens of Regina who ensure Santas Anonymous can provide the over 4,500 less fortunate children in Regina full bellies and gifts under their tree on Christmas morning.
980 CJME, Z99 and Jack 94.5, along with the Salvation Army, hosted its 53rd Santas Anonymous from November 12 to December 12.
Nearly 10,000 toys, stuffed animals, board games, books and more were collected over the four week campaign. Additional toys will be purchased to ensure that every child receives an extra special Christmas.
Over the next week parents will visit our work shop and have the opportunity to shop for toys for their children and receive a gift card to purchase a Christmas meal for their family.
