Saskatchewan people have come through again to help those in need. The amazing listeners of Rawlco Radio responded to A Day of Caring for Saskatoon and Regina Food Banks, by raising $1,614,755. It demonstrates the generosity of Saskatchewan communities and the difference that can be achieved when we all get together.
Rawlco Radio’s three Saskatoon stations and three Regina stations teamed up for A Day of Caring to support the Saskatoon and Regina Food Banks as they work through a significant increase in requests and prepare for an uncertain future as a direct result of the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic.
To kick off A Day of Caring, Rawlco Radio made a lead donation of $1million between the Saskatoon and Regina Food Banks.
Proceeds from today’s event will be used by the Saskatoon and Regina Food Banks to purchase large volumes of non-perishable food items to address both the immediate needs and future requirements of those who need it most.
