C95 Gives Away The Biggest Cash Prize In Saskatoon Radio History

C95 gave away $25,000 this morning on the popular Break The Bank radio contest. After over 800 contest plays, Saskatoon’s Jessie Denie grabbed the biggest cash prize ever given away on Saskatoon radio this morning during The Rob & Shauna Show.

For 5 years, C95 has given Saskatoon listeners a chance to win $25,000 on Break The Bank. Listeners open a virtual bank vault and take the money offered. They can risk that amount for the chance at more money with each additional vault they open. C95 listener Jessie started with just $93 in the first bank vault. She was crying and screaming with excitement after finding $25,000 in the 13th bank vault.

The Saskatoon mother of two says she was, “shaking with excitement”. Her husband Josh was texting her as she was playing live on the radio, encouraging her to go all the way. The couple says the money comes in handy after recently completing home renovations. They also fantasized about going on a trip.

C95 Program Director, Chris Myers aka Boss Cabbagehead, was in disbelief. “After 10 seasons, I never thought anybody would have the guts to risk it all for the $25,000. We’re very happy for Jessie!”.
