ROCK 102 CAGED FOR THE CURE RAISES OVER $105,035 FOR PROSTATE HEALTH
After 36 gruelling hours, Rock 102’s Shack, Watson & Whitney wrapped up Caged for the Cure radio marathon at The Centre Mall. This is Rock 102’s third annual 36-hour live radio marathon fundraiser with all proceeds supporting St. Paul’s Hospital Leslie & Irene Dubé Urology Centre of Health.
Rock 102 is excited to announce that Saskatoon has come through in a major way!
“Huge thanks to everyone in Saskatoon who pledged money,” said Rock 102’s morning hosts Mark Loshack, Derek Watson & Whitney Graves. “It’s because of your generosity that men have a place in our community to go with access to leading edge equipment and an in-house patient advocate for guidance, education and support when it comes to prostate health!”
Since the marathons inception in 2011, Rock 102's Caged for the Cure has raised more than $279,608. Rock 102 chooses to support The Leslie & Irene Dubé Urology Centre of Health at St. Paul's Hospital because the centre provides the best prostate detection and treatment options available for those suffering from prostate cancer and other Urological diseases.
Prostate Cancer is the most common cancer to afflict men. Most don't know that 1 in 6 Canadian men will be diagnosed with the disease.
