CJME Wrap's Up 43rd Annual Santa's Anonymous

43 years and still a great success! The 2012 NewsTalk 980 CJME’s Santas Anonymous program and the generosity of Regina continues. This year toys were provided for over 1500 under privileged children in Regina who registered with the Salvation Army and the Regina and District Food Bank to receive toys from Santa for Christmas.

On Friday, December 14th the Food Bank was transformed into Santa’s Workshop with a toy room, wrapping supply room and wrapping stations set up throughout the warehouse.

Saturday, December 15th volunteers starting arriving an hour before the scheduled 9am start time, they moved quickly through the warehouse grabbing supplies and getting busy wrapping gifts. Over 4500 toys were wrapped by over 200 volunteers.

Toys will be delivered by the Salvation Army and the Food Bank to their families this week.

Thanks you to all who participated in making the 43rd a huge success.
